Terms and Conditions

Orit’s Tea & Spice


By using this website, placing an order, or purchasing from Orit’s Tea & Spice, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.


1. About Our Products

Orit’s Tea & Spice creates small-batch, handmade tea blends, spice blends, pantry products, and private blends.

Our products are hand-blended in Australia using selected teas, herbs, spices, botanicals, and pantry ingredients. Because our products are handmade in small batches, natural variation may occur between batches.

2. Small Batch Variation

Our products may vary slightly in colour, aroma, texture, flavour, strength, ingredient appearance, and final blend balance due to:

  • Ingredient origin
  • Seasonal availability
  • Supplier variation
  • Batch size
  • Natural ingredient differences
  • Handmade preparation methods

These natural variations are part of small-batch, handmade production and do not mean the product is faulty.

3. Ingredients and Allergens

Customers must carefully read all product descriptions, ingredients, labels, and allergen information before purchasing or consuming any product.

Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including, but not limited to, nuts, tree nuts, sesame, wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, sulphites, spices, seeds, herbs, and other plant-based ingredients.

If you have allergies, intolerances, food sensitivities, medical conditions, are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or are purchasing for someone with dietary needs, please check all ingredients carefully and consult your GP, pharmacist, or qualified health professional before buying or consuming the product.

4. Health Disclaimer

Orit’s Tea & Spice products are food and beverage products only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Any wellness-style product names, descriptions, or traditional references are general in nature and should not be taken as medical advice.

Always consult your GP or a qualified health professional before consuming herbal teas, spice blends, or specialty ingredients if you have any health concerns.


5. Product Descriptions

We aim to make our product descriptions, images, ingredients, and information as accurate as possible. However, colours, packaging, and product appearance may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography, natural ingredients, packaging changes, and batch differences.


6. Private Blends and Custom Orders

We may offer private blends for gifts, events, business hampers, wellness rituals, family favourites, or custom flavour requests.

Private blends are made based on customer preferences and ingredient availability. 

Final blends may vary depending on ingredient origin, availability, and batch production.

Private blends and custom orders require payment before production begins. 

Once a private blend or custom order has been started, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

We own the rights for any blend created by us.


7. Orders and Payments

Orders must be paid in full before products are packed or dispatched.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, listed incorrectly, affected by ingredient supply issues, or cannot be safely produced.

If we cancel an order, we will contact you and arrange a suitable refund or alternative where appropriate.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are estimates only. Shipping cost depends on the promotion, the weight, and where it is going. Delays may occur due to postal services, couriers, public holidays, weather events, high-demand periods, or circumstances outside our control. Shipping is between 1 to 3 days from payment, unless a special order of ingredients is required, and it will be discussed directly with the client with their preferred method of communication. 

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Orit’s Tea & Spice is not responsible for delays or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses supplied by the customer.

9. Refunds and Returns

Due to the handmade, small-batch, and food-based nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

This includes situations where a customer:

  • Changes their mind
  • Ordered the wrong product
  • Does not like the flavour after opening
  • Did not read the ingredients
  • Has a personal taste preference
  • No longer requires the product


However, your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.

If your order is incorrect, unsafe, or has a major product issue, please contact us within and we will review the matter.


10. Opened Products

For food safety reasons, opened products generally cannot be returned unless there is a confirmed product fault, contamination issue, incorrect item, or other issue covered by Australian Consumer Law.

11. Storage and Use

Customers are responsible for storing products correctly after purchase. Unless otherwise stated, products should be stored sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, heat, and strong odours.

Orit’s Tea & Spice is not responsible for product deterioration caused by incorrect storage after delivery.

12. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, copy content without permission, attempt unauthorised access, or use the website for unlawful purposes.


13. Intellectual Property

All Orit’s Tea & Spice branding, product names, labels, images, designs, descriptions, recipes, and website content remain the property of Orit’s Tea & Spice unless otherwise stated.

You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission. Legal actions may be taken if a breach has been detected.


14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Orit’s Tea & Spice is not liable for loss, damage, allergic reaction, misuse, incorrect storage, personal preference, or failure to check ingredients before purchasing or consuming a product.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law regarding "acceptable quality" and "fit for purpose".


15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website.
